Weekly Markets, Farmers’ Markets & Antique Markets

In the area around Melazzo, markets are an important part of daily life. Throughout the surrounding towns, various markets take place every week, usually in the morning from around 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM—the perfect time to experience local life in action.

Weekly markets offer a wide variety of goods. Alongside fresh produce, you will find clothing, shoes, household items, and regional specialties. They are lively meeting places where locals, traders, and visitors come together, providing a wonderful opportunity to experience the atmosphere of Piedmont.

Farmers’ markets focus entirely on local products. Farmers and producers from the region sell their own harvests and artisanal goods, including seasonal vegetables, cheeses, cured meats, honey, bread, and wine. Everything comes directly from the producer, ensuring authentic flavors and a genuine connection to the region.

The area also hosts regular antique and brocante markets, especially on weekends. These markets attract collectors and enthusiasts searching for vintage furniture, ceramics, linens, and unique treasures with a story to tell. Browsing, discovering, and taking your time are all part of the experience.

A visit to one of the local markets is easily combined with a coffee in the piazza or lunch at a traditional trattoria—a relaxed way to explore the region and embrace the rhythm of life in Piedmont.
